Chris Afendoulis, R-Grand Rapids Township, this week was appointed by House Speaker Kevin Cotter to serve on the House Committee on Criminal Justice.The new assignment is in addition to Rep. Afendoulis’ current responsibilities on the House Committee on Appropriations.“Rep. Afendoulis has provided valuable leadership throughout the budget process and in his role as co-chair of the House Criminal Law Reform Workgroup,” Speaker Cotter said. “Adding Chris’ experience and knowledge to our criminal justice policy discussions will be a great benefit for the people of Michigan.”Rep.
